Meet The Author!

Hey there! Tis I, the creator of Subliminarity! I go by many names in the online sphere, such as Trey Time or Commander Fox, but IRL people know me as Trey Fields! If you still don't know who I am IRL, then the fact that I brought a giant keyboard to school or was the one with a billion pockets might jog your memory, but I'm much more than just a silly little gimmick. In this little about me page, you get to learn the intricacies and answers as to what I do and why I do it. So, without further ado, let's get into all that shall we?

Man at arms and man of arts

As a creator, I'm a man of many different things, most of which include indulging in the arts. Many of it ranges to things like writing, art and music, but I also like to indulge in a lot of things that are "Noble esque." Things like horseback riding or swordsmanship are definitely my forte, but I am quite a good shot with a gun and can use a bow exceptionally well too. Of course I also indulge in playing games a lot, but honestly how could I not? You get to experience a lot of stories playing games and as a writer that's very useful for me. It's a media that allows me to be interactive and customize things, while also being able to shake up my experiences from time to time too. I'd also like to state that I'm flattered that you're reading this page if anything else, as it means that you're either trying to dig some dirt up on me or are genuinely interested in the type of person I am. No matter the reason, you're taking up the time of your day to learn about me, and that means a lot. It''s too bad I can't get to know you as well, but that's only because you're reading a text blurb, not having a conversation. Someday though, someday...

So why did you do it?

I really hope you ask this question to why I made subliminarity, because trust me I haven't murdered anyone to my knowledge. To answer the aforementioned question, It was mainly out of inspiration for the backrooms series and how I wanted to make something unique. On top of that, Subliminarity was inspired by "Last Year: The Nightmare" and I wanted to create not only the book but also a team game much like the "Aliens" styled board game too. Working on this as an over-arching series has been a lot of fun, and I really hope that at some point I can make more chapters.

Stuff I like

Fire Emblem Three Houses

If I had to choose an overall game that I love the most, definitely has to be this one. The story and loveable characters and music and gameplay etc etc etc, it just feels like perfection incarnate.

Advance Wars: Reboot Camp

Definitely my first introduction to the series but OH MY GOD IT'S SO MUCH FUN! The characters are all so popping and it really puts more fun into war rather than making it "Traumatizing" and "Life altering in a negative way" or "needless massacres" and what not. It makes it cutesy, fun, and most importantly replayable!

World's End Club

Definitely the biggest inspiration for Subliminarity and one with the greatest story of all time. SERIOUSLY IT'S SO UNDERRATED AND AMAZING PLEASE BUY IT I CRIED 4 TIMES OVER THIS! THAT'S REALLY HARD TO DO BTW SO THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD!

Team Fortress 2

One of my favorite all time shooters that I grew up with and still love to this day. It's so perfectly crafted and so much fun that to this day I still hope valve does something with it :(

Overwatch

Notice how I didn't say Overwatch 2 btw? Anyways this game was amazing and honestly I loved it for the characters and lore a lot too. Now I wish I could talk about this more, but if I say anything that's an opinion then the competitive scene is gonna kill me so sorry!

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

I have yet to beat this game because it's way too long but honestly that's a benefit too it. It's an amazing game in terms of story and it really feels more like a movie that let's you walk around in it's world which is amazing! The cutscene work is immaculate too as your class you picked shows up in the cutscenes perfectly, so I think that's a neat detail.

Doctor Who

At least in the early days of the 9th, 10th & 11th doctor, this show is an absolute must watch with families and to binge if you take too long to eat like I do. It's very funny but emotional and I got emotionally wrecked over the whole Rose stuff. You know....

Danganronpa 3

Now i'm gonna be honest I never played any danganronpa game and only watched 3 online, but I love 3 to itty bitty bits. Not because of the actual plot but really it's just because of the characters, and if they really just didn't kill them off then I'd be so down to watch or play through a series like that. (probably explains why i've only played Danganronpa S but even then it felt a bit odd as a crossover)

Starkid Productions

I'm not huge in any other musicals mostly because I don't have the money or time for them, BUT OH MY GOD STARKID KNOCKS EVERYTHING OUT OF THE PARK WITH THEIR STUFF! SERIOUSLY GO WATCH THE HATCHETFIELD TRILOGY AND ANI AND TWISTED RIGHT NOW IT'S LITERALLY FREE! DO IT IT'S SO GOOD!

Star Wars

Honestly not a super nerd about it who can name every clone troopers left nut, but I am really fond with the series and adore the concepts and showmanship of it. It's really cool!

Wakfu

PEAK FANTASY SERIES! ABSOLUTE W FROM THE FRENCH! I found the show before finding the MMORPG that I sadly cant play because my computer doesnt work with it :(. When I found out it was a game first and then show I was blown out of the water, because trust me this series is absolute PEAK and is a must watch too.
